George Marcus is a Malawian-born artist whose work is rooted in the spirit of Africa. Raised by a single mother among eight siblings, he began painting in 1986 as a way to stay out of trouble—and found his life’s purpose. His work tells the stories of African tribes, culture, and resilience, brought to life through bold color and passion.

In 2025, he reunited with his mother after 20 years apart. That journey reignited his calling: to celebrate the beauty of Africa through art.
